Back Again

Back to the COZY HOME with the children and grandchildren after a wonderful week at MB. The weather was great with the usual liquid sunshine we had one day. Lots to do in MB, and we did much of it. We all got to the beach, the pools, hot tub, lazy river, and even the computer room at the Tower. Plenty of good eating spots. Did enjoy a special lunch at Benny Rapps's and a fun-filled lunch with six others at Margueritaville. Even got to see the hurricane come and drop its load of margueritas.

Rainy today, but I suppose a day of rest after a day of travel is okay, too. Gives ones body a chance to recover and prepare for the week ahead. Even the opening hymn at Mass today was "Rain Down" which was a new one for me, but very singable. Football games today. Loved the one last night!! Rutgers beat Pitt 20-10 to keep their record clean. Dad must be cheering for all he is worth up there. This is the best Rutgers has done since 1976 when they went 11-0 and did not attend a bowl game!! Imagine that!!

Catching up with all the blogs of the children and now my eyes are getting tired.
Have a great and wonderful day, everyone.

Traveling again

After many attempts to blog, forgetting my password, etc., here I am back at it again. Peggy helped me locate my vital statistics. Thanks, Peggy. Since my first blog, I have been on the go around the area. First a trip to NC to help the twins celebrate their 3rd birthday at the end of August . It was a fun trip and a fun party with the JoJo's circus as t he theme. We all had a great time with the balloons and noise makers. Oh to be three!!! Recently I took a weekend trip to Galena, IL and discovered some very lovely old homes on the home tour and a long visit and tour of the home of U. S. Grant. Learned quite a bit of history that day. Weather was ideal for touring and the city is most unusual with all its hills and history. Then there was the trip to Green Bay to see thhe Packers almost beat the St. Louis Rams. It was a heartbreaker for all the fans as the Packers were on their way to winning one. A fumble in the last minute did them in. Now, here I am again in NC visiting youngest daughter Ruth Anne, husband David, their three beautiful red headed children and spending a week at their time share in Myrtle Beach. Just arrived here this afternoon so am anxious to see the Atlantic Ocean again, having grown up on the East Coast, it is familiar territory. We have been joined by Peggy and her friend, Mary. Tomorrow daughter Mary and her son Jake arrive late. Tuesday, Mary's husband will arrive so it will be almost a family reunion. Son Paul is off to Mexico doing his wedding work. Now that I know who I am and how to get into this blog world, I will try to keep you more up to date with my real world.
